Sourcing with Care

The endless pursuit of great coffee

Vayichil comes from Jaltenango in Chiapas and is produced by 65 women smallholder farmers working within La Tribu, a local producer group made up of more than 300 families in the region.

The name Vayichil means "to dream" in Tzotzil, a language spoken by many Mayan communities across Chiapas. That local rooting matters here: this is not anonymous decaf, but a coffee tied to a specific network of growers and a place with its own identity.

In the cup it stays approachable and rounded, which is exactly what we want from a decaf like this. It still tastes like proper coffee first, just without the caffeine following behind.
