The endless pursuit of great coffee

In the Toba region of Sumatra, Bang Silalahi and his farming community work with small nano-lots and close quality control from harvest through processing. The coffees come from their own organic farm as well as nearby partners, with ripe cherry selection and lot separation playing a big role in the final result.

This lot shows a lighter, more floral side of Sumatra than people often expect. Instead of earthiness or weight, it leans toward jasmine, tea, and clean sweetness, which makes the origin feel fresh again.
